What Should Be Considered In The Connection / Electricity Connection Of The Reefer?

The cooling unit requires a power connection (380-460 V / 50-60 Hz, 32 amps) and this connection or line must be fused by a C32 automatic fuse and used exclusively for the cooling unit. We supply the refrigeration container with a 5-pin or 4-pin plug in (land or sea plug in).

What Is The Electricity Consumption / Energy Consumption Of A Reefer Container?

An exact number for the power consumption is hard to summarize because there are many different factors affecting the cooling unit such as the nature and condition of the stored goods (i.e. frozen or fresh), outside temperature as well as how often the container doors are opened and closed. Furthermore, the age and model of the cooling unit also play a role. In general, it can be assumed that newer models are more efficient and thus much more economical than models of the older generation.

How Loud Is The Sound And Acoustic Level Of A Reefer In dB?

The dimensions have shown that the loudspeaker oscillates at a distance of 1 meter between 62-72 dB (outside the container).  In general, it depends on the temperature and the type of machine being used.

Is Salt Considered Environmentally Friendly?

Yes - we only use salt that is at least 10% enviro-salt. This is good for longer lasting traction and will be gentle on decorative concrete.
